Mike Reid

Dr. Mike Reid, MD, MPH, MA, is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Epidemiology at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). Additionally, he is the Chief Science Officer at the US Department of State’s Bureau of Global Health Security and Diplomacy – PEPFAR, overseeing the organization’s science and research agenda.  At UCSF, he serves as the Associate Director at UCSF’s Center for Global Health Diplomacy, Delivery, and Economics, focusing on policy research in donor financing for TB and HIV programs in high-burden countries. Dr. Reid also led the secretariat of the Lancet Commission for TB between 2017 and 2023.
