She works closely with the FAST-TB Coordinators to ensure daily operations remain on track and deliver results on time and with impact. Tara also collaborates with FAST-TB Leadership, international TB experts, and CRDF Global staff to support the implementation of FAST-TB activities.

Prior to joining CRDF Global, Tara worked in pediatric TB and HIV treatment, diagnostics, immunology, and prevention research administration at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) and Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH). In this role she led research administration and ensured compliance with US Government rules and regulations to execute research goals and objectives under BCM/TCH’s Global TB Program. Prior to working at BCM/TCH, Tara worked at Jhpiego (Johns Hopkins University Affiliate) on coordination of HIV prevention and maternal TB implementation science activities. Tara holds a Masters in International Development from the University of Pittsburgh’s Graduate School of Public and International Affairs and is passionate about reducing the global burden of TB and TB co-infections.
